参加者有13名语言专业的大学生和60多名高中生。主要讨论的题目是：
“Brand names: Do you pronounce them right?”, “Movie Titles with Realia Names: Challenge for Translator”, “The Image of a Woman in British Poetry”; истории – “Henry VIII: Myths and Facts”, “Etymological Doublets: Some Secrets of Words Origin”, “Women Inventors”; культуре – “The Recipe of American Happiness”, “Toad in the Hole and other Puzzling Food names”, “Talking of the Queen: nothing but good”
